Common questions

Try these checks first.

Most notification issues come from a disabled delivery channel, a permission, or an inactive connection.

I’m not receiving notifications on my phone.

Confirm that notifications are allowed for Notificator in your phone’s settings, then open the app so it can refresh its device registration.

In WordPress, make sure the API key is active and that mobile push is enabled for the event. Trigger the event again and check whether a dashboard alert appears. If it does, the WordPress event is working and the problem is limited to push delivery.

How do I create a Notificator account?

Install Notificator from the Apple App Store or Google Play and create your account inside the mobile app. The same account connects your phone, WordPress sites, and compatible devices.

Can I use the WordPress plugin without an account or API key?

Yes. You can discover events, configure notifications, and receive dashboard alerts without an API key. An active key is required only for remote delivery such as mobile push and MQTT.

The dashboard alert works, but mobile push does not.

This usually means the WordPress event is configured correctly. Check the event’s mobile-push toggle, confirm the selected API key is active, and verify the operating-system notification permission for Notificator. Opening the app once can also refresh the phone’s registration.

Where can I get help with a Notificator device?

Start with the open-source firmware repository for setup and compatibility information. For a build-specific problem, include the board, firmware version, and connection method when contacting us.

Where should I report a reproducible plugin bug?
